I took a half vacation day in preparation for the long weekend and after a very quick lunch, I took Koi for a walk in a local park. You know your priorities change when you’re rushing home to walk the dog - and spend about 3 minutes wolfing down lunch. We went to the Fraser River Park - a place I’ve heard of but never had the opportunity to visit. It looks a lot bigger on the map - it took us about 25 minutes to circle the whole park - it does have a lot of vast green patches, so I suppose if you’ve got a fetch-and-come kind of dog you can busy yourself for a couple of hours - but not for a Shiba! :P Or should I emote… ^..^=?
But if you’re ever in the Lower Mainland, it’s a lovely riverside walk, with lots of historical information posts to educate visitors about the area.
